About

ScribblePlay.com is a place to write and overcome writer’s block.

Whether you’re a novelist, poet, screenwriter or song writer, you’ll find ScribblePlay fun, creatively inspiring and helpful as a writer’s resource. The concept behind ScribblePlay is simple: write as much as you can, as fast as you can!

There are two sides to the community: the blog, which is dedicated to exploring writer’s block among other issues, and the stories in progress, which is what really sets ScribblePlay apart from the other writing communities out there. The stories in progress are exactly what they sound like — unfinished stories — and they need your help if they’re ever going to reach their ending. Community storytelling … like sitting around the fire picking up where the last storyteller left off.

With so many voices and minds working on one story, there’s no telling where the story will go … which is exactly what will keep you from running into writer’s block.

Christopher Rice, Editor

Christopher | ScribblePlay.comAs the creator and editor of ScribblePlay.com, Christopher spends his time writing stories and working with other bloggers to create content that helps writers overcome writer’s block, explore the art and most importantly, get back to writing. He dropped out of college, but he’s a passionate believer in personal interest education — the idea that learning more about what interests you is more important than learning what’s mandatory in the eyes of the collegiate structure. In addition to storytelling and blogging, Christopher specializes in search engine optimization, a craft in which you optimize content for the search engine algorithm; many believe the practice is pointless considering Google is the best at what they do  … he agrees with them. Abstract Expressionist, Storyteller, Social Media Ninja and Web Publisher — can one be all of these when they grow up? He hopes so.  He plays for team Natural Content, team Apple, team Self Expression and team Coexist.
