My name is Christopher Rice, and I’m the guy behind ScribblePlay.

Like most of the members here, I’m a writer — and like most writers, I suffered from severe cases of writer’s block. What was really frustrating at the time was that I was working as a professional script reader in Hollywood — reading screenplays and books mostly, — yet I couldn’t bring myself to write my own work.

I’m guessing it was because I analyzed everything — after all, it was my job.

So I created ScribblePlay.com.

The idea was to have a place where I could just focus on writing as much as possible, despite the quality, and as fast aspossible. The theory was that this would enable me to explore the stories I wanted, without having to plot everything out.

Personally, it turned out to be very helpful and inspiring, which only fueled my creativity and increased the amount of writing I was producing, so I’d like to invite you to join as I think you’ll find it beneficial to both your work and your skill.
